# VowsLink Seating — Privacy Policy

_Effective September 26, 2026_

VowsLink Seating ("the app") is a seating planner for weddings and other events, made by VowsLink, a brand of EnergyX LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app does with information. The short version: **your guest list and seating plan stay on your phone.**

## No account, no cloud

The app has no sign-up and no account. Everything you enter — events, guests, RSVPs, meal choices, notes, tags such as accessibility needs, tables and floor plans — is stored only on your device. We do not receive it, cannot see it, and cannot recover it for you. Deleting the app deletes that information from the device.

If you export a backup file, a PDF, a spreadsheet or an image, that file is yours: it goes wherever you choose to save or send it.

## What leaves your device

### Finding a vendor

When you use "Partners near your event", the app sends the ZIP code and the trade you picked (for example, "Photographers") to our server so it can suggest a partner within about ten miles. Nothing else about your event is sent. The ZIP code is not saved by the app and is not linked to you. Like any web server, ours may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and time of the request) for security and troubleshooting.

### QR codes on guest cards

A printed guest card can carry a QR code. The code contains, inside the link itself, the guest's name, table, seat, the event title and a small map of the room. Scanning it opens find.vows.link. That information sits in the part of the link after the "#", which browsers do not send to the server — so our server does not receive it. Anyone who has the card or the link can see what it shows, just as they could read the printed card.

### Purchases

Upgrades are bought through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment; we never receive your payment details.

To verify purchases and keep track of an active subscription, the app uses [RevenueCat](https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy), a purchase-management service. RevenueCat receives a random identifier created by the app (not your name, email or Apple ID), your purchase and subscription history for this app, and basic device information such as the app version and country of the App Store. It never receives your events, guests, tables or anything else you enter in the app. RevenueCat processes this information on our behalf under its own privacy policy.

## What we don't do

-   No analytics, advertising or tracking inside the app.
-   No selling or sharing of personal information.
-   No access to your contacts, location, camera or photos unless you choose a feature that uses them (for example, adding a floor photo).

## Children

The app is meant for adults planning events and is not directed to children under 13.

## Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
